Here is another "twin" of knifes by Ed Wüsthof.

Like with any "twin" there are minor differences:

- annodised and painted scabbard
- year of production

The rest is very similar and often typical to the maker.

Who else has a Ed. Wüsthof HJ?

Best greetings,

Nice examples Herman. Interesting that the RZM mark has the last number reversed on the 1939 one. I've noticed this on some examples but didn't take note of the dates. Have you seen this on any other dated examples apart from 1939? Nice heavy obverse stampings.

Regards
Russell

Hello Russell,

Excellenty observation.
I believe that the stamp must have been used: I believe the "9" is missing some parts (not reversed) , just like the RZM circel is "open "(not completely stamped).

Best greetings,

Herman
