I don't own one by this maker, so I cannot compare and the pictures are quite small to look at... But motto-ed RZM only knifes by this maker have been observed and I don't see anything wrong from what I can see. Except maybe that it appears that the scabbard shows more wear than the knife, could be the pictures. The motto is indeed extremely deep. Bigger pictures and close-ups would help a lot. I can see the RZM 1938 from the picture....not 1933......and the motto...looks very strange to me...i mean it so deeply engraved. i think somebody engraved it a second time over on top of the old motto...or something >>>looks funny

Wheter its 1933 or 1938, i would expect to see the marker's mark too... Dont you guys think? Nevertheless, more pics are needed

That is correct, Russell, there are about 15 known makers that made a motto-ed HJ knife without makersmark, only an RZM mark and often the year of production. In Russ N's list they are called the moto-ed RZM only knifes. Best greetings, Herman
