Hi! ;Let me present you the last addition to my little collction; a late Arthur Schuttelhofer RZM marked only, except for the runners marks is in an amazing condition! I can't find any rrust, ding, scratch or any thing in it! the scabbard also is like new! even has th cotton protecion on the runners! I'm very surprised of a piece with almost 70 years old is in such condition but is real. I will make better photos next weekend, regards

Hello Nacho,

interesting, I would like to see the reverse side of your knife.

From your current pictures, I have the impression that the rivet heads are unusualy large.

Best greetings,

Herman

Hi Herman! I also thought they were too large, comparing them with other original HJ knives i have they match in dimensions, I put a photo where you can see a rivet (sorry don't have another one at hand) Regards.

Hi Nacho if I am not mistaken the bowie bladed Schuttelhofer HJ you posted recently also had big rivets in the grip
So Schuttelhofer variation or latest Spannish repro attempt?

Hi! I bought the knife posted in this thread from a guy in austria, the bowie like knife I didn't buy at all but the seller was from Germany. As a rule I buy my pieces in internet auctions in Germany, Austria an Northern Europe (mainly at www.egun.de) here in Spain there's not much of german miltaria and what we can find is very expensive. The fakes 'made in Spain' are mainly from the 60s-70s (from MARTO company) and altough high quality made, they don't are easy to find, what you can buy all around the world are junk made in Toledo and this trash can't fool nobody seriously collecting. I ask to anybody who has a RZM marked only HJ knife from this maker to post some photos to compare, best regards.

The scabbard, rivets and buttons on the scabbard are magnetic, the hilt doesn't.
