Do you have a "1940", "1941" or "1942" dated HJ knife?

Or one that just shows that it is of very late production due to the materials used?

Show them now please!

Best greetings,

Herman

Heres an interesting one guys its stamped M7/12 1940 on the ricasso & has the Ed Wusthof trademark stamped on the blade but M7/12 isnt the RZM number for Wusthof its for maker Carl Robert Kaldenbach or its duplicate RZM# Waffenfabrik Max Weyersberg, So maybe old Wusthof ran out of blades & borrowed some from either company? Wink.........Regards Scott.

I had this HJ Knife and when I found it the blade had been filed and was a mess, the plating on the pommels etc was about 50% but the diamond was perfect -- and the grips were cracked. Now I know that restoration can kill the value of the weapon; however a friend who owns an auto body shop asked if he could make it right for me ? I said Jack I have nothing to loose so I bought a set of grips from JRB&M and sent it to Jack. Well he gave it the restoration of a lifetime - he even removed the dent in the snap and re finished it. Opinions & Comments Welcomed. Oh I doubt that the brand new 1941's ever looked this fine Thanks mattcald@bellsouth.net

Hello Stingray,

Anton Wingen Jr made lots of HJ's, but I have only seen a few "1942" marked knifes by this maker. Yours seems to be in great condition, thanks for showing it!

Best greetings,

Herman
