I would check out Johnsons site. He has a lot of parts. It may not be listed so you can send an e-mail request.

Welcome to the Forum! Another place to check is Manion's Military Auction site ,but there is no parts section,so go to Luftwaffe Daggers section. JohnyV is right and I would check w/ Col. Johnson first. Good luck.Hugh.

Hey, there`s a "modified" luft on ebay right now, with a good chain and scabbard fittings.

I removed this as according to GDC rules these type of "want ads" should be in the GDC classifieds. I was not aware of the fact that GDC "lost" the "Classifieds" section recently due to some computer/server thing--so I put it back. Enjoy. Red Face Confused

While browsing through some old postings, I came across this one. The chain that Tiep was offering for sale (unfortunately the top fitting is not visible) appears to me to be a DLV chain, and not Luftwaffe, due to the 9 & 14 link configuration with "S" connectors. Dan

No, Klaas used this style chain hanger on its first model Luftwaffe early period dagger. RARE. I have only seen a couple.

Ron, I am not going to dispute that Klaas used that style hanger on their early Lufts, and I would imagine many others did also, probably to use existing stock during the transition from DLV to 1st Luft.

What I should have said was the pictured chain hanger appears to be DLV, since the standard
attachment link for MOST DLV daggers was the "S"
hook, while most 1st Lufts just used another connector link. Dan
