Purchased these hangers along with some SA hangers. I was wondering if fellow collectors could help me out in identifying these hangers ... or whatever it is. Also, how much are they if I would sell them here on GDC? Any opinion on value would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

#3 front - a belt loop with 2 D-rings on each side ... what was it used for?

I've never seen the first one. Maybe worn by a pionier , but that's just a guess. Neat looking though.
Second is the end of a cross strap.
Third, I've seen period photos of it in use with the top "D" ring clipped to the cross strap but the bottom "D" ring unused.
I don't think giving a value would be proper for me to do since I'd be interested in them. Let me know when you put them up for sale.

The first one looks like a item from a fireman's belt although the belt loop looks a little thin. Those guys had wide duty belts from what I've seen.

Thanks for your replies.

Here´s another strange SA hanger. I´ve never seen such a clip on a SA hanger. Is it legit?

This one looks fine. Most likely the original clip broke and the SA man had this clip available so he used it. Of course it could have been done post war but either war I like it.

Raymond - I think (if you were referring to the last hanger posted) this is the very rare early SA "dog clip" hanger. These are 100% original, very rare and very saught after. I have been looking for one of these for quite some time (ivbaust - Wenn Sie wollen das verkaufen, bitte schreib mich Wink)
I think if Dave H. would chime in here we would know for sure.

Thanks Johnny. I knew they used this style clip on early vertical hangers but didn't know they used them on this style. Cool
