SS officer's sword "border guard" knot??|

I was told that this knot represented the border guard, but have not seen anything that says one way or another, was hoping someone could help me out here.

As for the sword itself, what are some things to look at to authenticate it? It is WKC manufactured, and has the SS stamp on the reverse of the blade (and nowhere else).
Also, which knot would belong on this sword? the black, grey, and red one? |

I see nothing wrong with the sword from what can be seen. It is a standard Police Officer sword. Not SS. Takes the Police Officer grade sword knot-black red and silver.
