Can anyone identify these hangers? Gold with black stripes ... backing a dark blue .... fittings have a gold wash..... No markings on hangers. Thanks -

I think they are Model 1941 Bahnschutz hangers. According to Johnson's book on Accouterments, page 6. Quote: Double strap fabric hange made of gold color braid with blue cloth backing. Gold colored buckles and snaps. unquote.

On page 103 of his first volume, Johnson also describes the Water Protection Police Leader's hangers as "a double strap, detachable fabric hanger constructed of gold facing edged with dark blue strips, and sewn to dark blue velvet backs. Hanger buckles are oval in shape, gilt in color, and bear an oak leaf pattern." And on page 210 of Daggers, Bayonets & Fighting Knives of Hitler's Germany, Angolia provides a color photo of this hanger, which looks a lot like the one pictured here. ~ Ian

WPP hangers. There are many reproductions. A very close examination would be necessary. Most originals have the box type top fitting.
