Paul,
Very nice Volkspolizei patches. The Betreibsschutz were the industrial (factory) police and wore this patch when assigned to factory protection. Here is an example of a Volkspolizei NCO uniform with this arm patch. "You can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself." Ricky Nelson  |

Interestingly, before they wore this patch the Betriebsschutz wore a sleeveband. Here is an example of a Volkspolizei Officer uniform with a sleeveband. Notice that the collar tabs and shoulder boards are different from the NCO tunic shown above.
