Here is my newest addition and first painted piece, the young sitting rabbit model 61. This one has gray markings rather than the usual brown.

Interesting piece. I like that model with the ears straight up better than the one with the ears lying down against the body.

Erich,

I think you made an excellent choice by adding this great rabbit to your collection. Isn't it amazing what just a bit of understated color can do for one of these animals? These soft pastel colors really bring it to life.

Best regards!

Thanks Bill, yes the coloring really makes the piece come alive and I had never seen one in gray until this one so it was a critter that I couldn't pass up.

Erich,

Do you think you could get a photo of the two together, that we could see? Big Grin Cool

... or maybe even two ..? ..hope you might.

It's just nice to look at great animal studies,
no matter if it's a small insect or a giant polar bear! Size does definitely NOT matter here. Smile if it's a good one it should convey
some tiptop, positive feelings to the eye and mind, much like a great dagger or a rare award.

I thank all you gentlemen who share your nice porcelains with us here on the forums. I wish all of you much pleasure and fun from our unique hobby!

A lovely addition indeed Erich, I prefer the more subtly painted animals like this to the completely painted ones like the bears & dogs.

However My favourites are still naked white Big Grin

Here's ours.

Cheers
Don

Great piece Bill and I see that you did add a touch of the white gold to the last photo.
