Hi Guys..... just thought i would start this and see where it leeds..... is there a award document for the standard 33 model SA Rohm (34 SA Honour dagger)? I know of and have seen the document for the 34 SS Rohm Daggers. In April 34 Himmler sent out the order that all reipients of the SS honour dagger were to be issued with the award document. now,,, was the same decree set by Rohm for his SA recipients?

Good question. I have not heard of an SA document or an oder saying that one was required. It would be a major discovery to find one.

I have never seen or heard of an original SA Rohm Dagger document being awarded.

This here is one certification document for the SA Röhm dagger. It certify's the award and that the owner received the dagger (Ehrendolch verliehen erhalten hat ...) and that he is authorized to wear the Ehrendolch dagger.

I saw one once with a UK dealer. that is why i started this discussion.... this doc looked identical in every way to the SS honour doc apart from the fact it had "SA" and not SS. there was no glow on the paper, but originality could not be proven, and for the price that was being asked i could have bought a house.. (but who would want to do a stupid thing like that))

Hi All,
I do have an SA Parteibuch in my possession which has the award of the SA Roehm dagger noted on one page on a small properly printed insert. It should be shown in Wittmann's new SA Book.
