On one of my Hotel buys some time ago I famously purchased a mint full Rhome Boker SS. Naturally it was met with some scepticism.I sold it for $1200 it is now worth three times that figure. The acid test in authenticating it was determining that the etch had occured to both sides of the blade at the same time. That is the case with this dagger.The bobbling is just burnishing to the etch check the thin script of the D on the motto with the dedication
