Can you help? I picked up these two Eagles with a bunch of other stuff. What are they and are they real?

Many thanks for your help

The white on black one looks unissued. The gold on black has been taken off a uniform ans shows signs of wear as you can see.

top eagle looks bad to me,not enough detail to the wreath and other things,,bottom eagle fine...

the bird above looks like an original to,otherwise a good kopie!.Bad kopies do have a lot off tiny 'ropes' on the backside,originals
doesn't have that becuase it's woven correctly..... Smile

great pic by the way. It is so useful to see how such items were worn. What is so extraordinary is that this eagle came in a box of stuff from an old guy. The eagle was being used as padding for a bayonet that was loose in it's scabbard. the faint brown mark you can see bottom left on the rear of the eagle is a rust spot from the bayo. I nearly threw it away as a peice of old cloth wadding!!!
