Hello, does anyone know if Eichorn made gravity knives or the blades with their logo on? Should type 2 take down knives always have RBN numbers on their blades even if the marlin spike has the stamp on it? Thanks for your help,

Eickhorn never made any Gravity knives.
There were only 8 maker marked, SMF, Weyersburg, A. Wingen, Alcoso, WKC, Helbig, Malsch & Ambron and last but not least, Paul Seilheimer.
These are the only producers known to collectors.
If you have an Eickhorn, than it is a complete fake. Wink

Hello Pat.

Is there many fake gravitys out there in the marked ? how too spot the fakes ? something too look for ?
Do you have any links too fake gravitys ?

I get a new gravity in to my collection tomorrow. It came from Dombås in Norway where the german fellshirmjeger troops landed during the war.
The produsent is helbig no takedown type.

Hello LH600,

Yes, there are many Gravity fakes out there and in many instances, were probably the best repros ever made on any Third Reich era edged weapons.
Wink
I will send you pics of a "classic" fake Gravity knife, that was sold recently by one of the biggest and best known dealer in the US.
Of course, I will send you the info in your private e.mail box. Wink

Yes, and many advanced collectors believe the fakes are real and are fooled by them on other forums. I think you should post the photos here.
