I think that they could be OK. Is there a way to get a nice clear(and brighter) scan of the front?

I'm in awe, a wonderfull collection!

I don't think I've seen the tabs with tresse on them, I thought that the ranks with tresse had it on the collar, like heer collars, and not on the tab. is that a common practice?

Thanks for the kind words! LW uniforms and tabs are a passion of mine! I have an excessive personality! Yes tabs with the tress are for use by NCOs on the overcoats. The practice of wearing collar tabs on the overcoats was discontinued in 1942.

Hi PaulR ,
I'm a newby here.....and first of all: Wow!!!!
you have a really impressive LW collar tabs collection.....
I'd like to ask:
which is the difference between the pink collar tab with seagulls and that one alway pink but with propellers?
Thank you very much
Warmest regards
Giorgio

Thanks for the kind replies. There is actually no difference in the job titles of the two tabs(gulls versus propellers).

One is for Engineering Officials and the tabs with the gulls is for the "Corps of Engineering Officers". This was a short lived attempt to bring Engineering Officials into the regular Luftwaffe as regular officers, versus the Official status. Not many men chose to become regular Officers so the program never really took off. These tabs are considered to be very rare.

As soon as possible, I'll post some LW tabs pics that I think they're pink as well (with gulls)...
