After my last venture I feel it more prudent to post here first.

I have been offered this shell. It is stamped 1940 but has no other markings around the rim. The stamp is ink and very very faint.

As I nearly came a cropper last time I am asking you nice chaps for an honest opinion, I am happy if you guys see no screaming bad points, I have as usual a 100% guarantee. I also need an idea of value and is it possible to get a liner fitted?

thanks for looking.

I have also posted an interesting Italian helmet in the non German section for perusal.

Well, the decal is fake.....so that pretty much rules out the rest of it.
Someone has made a nice job of the paint.

Steve

Possibly an original shell, fake medic paint.

The close-up of the decal only confirms my opinion . It is a top quality decal, but fake nonetheless.
10/10 to the guy who made it!

Steve
