Im thinking about buying this piece. Any clue of a ball park price for a Luft dress uniform?

Are there any red flag questions that I should ask the seller? Other than a return option?

A 3 gull tab is for an Obergefreiter and red denotes flak/artillery. I would also have expected to see a double chevron on the left sleeve for this rank.
At this distance it looks to be a good issue tunic, and you should see LBA issue stamps on or above the inside pocket.
Check to see if the insignia has been replaced/resewn.
Price? From a dealer maybe about £700, private sale a bit less.

We should be careful when giving evaluations in currencies not used in the area of the seller.

That may be a price you would see in an area where people are paid (and buy) in pound sterling (same goes for euros)

In Canada, that would mean that the tunic would be selling for $1400.00 + tax..and there is nobody paying that king of money for a tunic of this type.

i believe that is a Tuchrock. to be worn open collar,early with piped collar. I believe later is the waffenrock, can be worn open or closed collar no piping on lapels.

This tunic is actually called a Waffenrock. These garments can be closed at the neck(notice the hook at the neck).

The tunic is missing the Obergrefeiter Chevrons. I am suspecting that this is a mint tunic that someone added the extra two gulls to each tab as an attempt to upgrade the rank.

Due to the rank inconsistency, I would not expect to see this tunic go for more than 700 dollars.
