sleeve insignia is finely embroidered on dark blue felt with two crossed flags, each yellow with aluminum bullion centers and flag pole eagles. Blue paper backing. Size: 4-3/4" tall...opinions on this rare item solicited,,,thanks,,Robert

Robert, I believe this insignia was introduced at the time in a BeVo or BeVo like form.

Doug,Only the HEER used BEVO,The Luftwaffe and Navy used embroidered Sleeve shields.The one pictured looks good to me.Jay Parisi
