I have always thought Heer Waffenrocks,
or Parade tunics were just beautiful.

Because of the war many sat in closets
and remain in nice condition!

Most of the time maybe the eagle was removed
and reattached!

Thats how many came back!

For the money and fun!

These start to look good!

I know many of you collect or have some so lets see a few!

The book looks great!

They also make a nice backdrop for daggers!

I also agree that those Waffenrocks looks great.
I only have one Army Dress tunic and I really like it (pics attached).
These are very esthetic and were historically based on the dress uniforms of Imperial Germany.
Recently bought the book and it is a great reference for anyone interested into the waffenrocks.

Very nice tunics Paul and great display. Cool

Beautiful waffenrocks display Raymond.
I also agree that these are undervalued and I don't really understand why.
I think that they look great and especially when fully dressed up, with their proper headgear and edged weapon.
Perhaps, one of these days they will become more popular but for now, I'm very happy with the one I have. Cool
Just bought another uniform last week and it is on its way from Europe. Wink

Thanks Pat. That Luftwaffe tunic is a beauty. I look forward to seeing more photos of it when it arrives. One day I plan to have all my tunics on display and complete. It's a long way off but, I don't plan on going anywhere soon.

There's no rush for me either and I do want to be collecting for many more years to come.
So, let us take our time and buy one piece at the time and once completed, we will all be pleased with ourselves. Wink
