Just got this "Bevo" - type insignia; no label or marking on back. I think these are early war. I believe value is $25-$40 - is that right? Thanks.

Hello,

The DRK Cap badges are typically of BeVo construction, mounted onto a reinforcement of cloth and then lock stitched around the edge.

I do not ever recall seeing a marking or label on any of the mounted DRK badges I have seen.

Your price estimate is in the ballpark.

Many thanks, John.

I wish it came attached to the o'seas cap but I still like it; good design, and the DRK had a handsome uniform....
