Hey all. I have another potential purchase that I would like your opinion on. This is a Luftwaffe M43 cap I believe. The inside of the cap has sewing holes for a diamond but it is gone. It reads "53" inside the diamond as the size. I need to make an offer for it so if anyone could give me an approximate value of one of these, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Issue pattern caps of this type do not have a diamond (or outline thereof). The photos shown here are quite dark making it difficult to make any solid comments.

Postwar Bundesluftwaffe caps were issued with interior diamonds and often are seen on the market with reapplied original or reproduction insignia.
