Hi guys,

I need your expert knowledge again for this item. I got it with a lot of ww2 dagger parts. Iám no expert on these emblems or uniform and would like to know what it could be, where its worn, by whom and if its worth a million or two. Have a look and I appreciate your comments,

Thanks,
PJ

Dear PJ,

The eagle conforms to the Wehrmacht pattern, given that the finish appears oxidized it could be for the Heer or Kriegsmarine-

Does the reverse have a pin?

lets say it had a horizontal pin. It has broken off. Also the wing has been repaired.
It just resembles a nice piece of history, but the quality is disappointing.
I would just like to know more about it.
It seems a little large for a cap.
Anyway thanks for the comment(s)

PJ

It's a breast badge.Worn on the white tunics and was removed when washing the tunic. This was done so the colors from a standard breast badge wouldn't run and ruin the tunic.
