Randal, what this armband is trying to represent is a control armband for Reichsbank personell..

There was a type of armband in the first world war that this one here is modelled after..it was used by members of the national bank when present for govt controlled money transfers to allies or for major purchases of war related material..

This armband is, however, a fantasy piece with one of the markings being a feldpost stamp..
