Smokey smith was our last great hero a true Canadian and ambasador for all vetrans. At 91 he never lost his sense of humor. One great thing about Smokey is he had an outgoing personality and would talk to anyone and give an autograph. He mentioned to my friend that he wouldn't want to go to Yugo with us ,when we asked why he said you can't shoot back and gave that laugh of his . The SEAFORTHS are giving him a great send off but he should be laying in state in OTTAWA. HE HAS DONE MORE FOR CANADA THAN MOST OF THOSE DAMM POLITICIANS. REST IN PEACE SMOKEY you where a good soldier.
