Great pictures Gustavo, that last pic shows three fine specimens of "the master race" , and it sure looks like everyone in the background has pushed them to the front for a giggle!. Any signs of a heer with a coloured grip in those books?.
hi Degens, nope, i have shown the best ones with edged weaspons....
I am building a nice collection of portrait photos which are the best source for daggers in wear. Most of them appear to be white grips (black and white)
Eric, you can see the book titles in the first image. email me if you need more details
Thanks for sharing Gustavo,I especially like the pic of Von Ribbentrop! It reminds me of my own little "Chubby Chubbs".Gosh it seems like only yesterday... Great Pics!! she would claw my eyes out if I called her that in public today!!!
'Wenn Alle Bruder Schweigen' is a fantastic photo essay on the Waffen SS. The only negative being it's 99.9% black and white. For good color photo's try 'Germany At War' by Lt Col. George Forty.
However many of Mr Forty's photographs in his book 'Germany at War' are already available on the internet. Although personally I see little difference between black and white or colour photographs, as long as they are of good quality and interesting. The only drawback to 'Wenn Alle Bruder Schweigen' is that it's captions are a little brief.
