Happened to stumble onto some old Star Wars and GI Joe action figures on ebay - it's absolutely unbelievable some of the prices for these ones still sealed on original cards etc!

Gritting my teeth now as a go through looking at some of the items I had (especially the big ticket vehicles etc) as a kid and distincly remember ripping them out of the box and running into the dirt of my parents garden with them to have wars and bury them etc.

Anyone here delve into that side of collectibles? And likely experiencing similar regrets for not tucking away a few somewhere unopened??? Frown

This is crazy ive been checking ebay for years (when bored) looking at the old action figures i had and destroyed. The transformers had a huge spike a bout a year ago. Also the star wars figures will sometimes have "varients" from Cananda or South America which brings huge bucks! The varient can be something as little as an action figures cape made out of different material which doubles the price Eek I wonder if they have repros? Razz

I recall getting a G.I. Joe at a very young age for christmas and had forgotten about it until later on researching costs of collectible NASCAR items i used to collect.
I stubbled across my JOE in a listing stating a price of 450.00 in the box. My mother found this out later and said she should have put it in the closet after i opened it that christmas morning long ago.
I told mom that would have scarred me for life, and sent me down the road of a serial killer or something, but now i wish i had that stupid doll.
