What a great, informative thread. More solid info here than in many books.

Speaking of which, Paul, have you ever thought of doing a book ?

THANKS Dave in fact I have published three documents so far one is a checklist book for CEF collectors the two are print outs of the WAINWRIGHT Alberta POW camp diary . I have colour plates ready for a book on my regiments collectables but money for colour is a big problem. I advise and submit pictures for other authors all the time.

Victor Taboika's long-awaited book is finally in Canada and will be ready for customer delivery soon. You can pre-order now at www.servicepub.com. The book is an amazing illustrated catalogue of one man's private collection. It consists of 360 full-colour pages and weighs in at a hefty 2.5Kg (approx 5+lbs). THis will be of interest to uniform, insignia and equipment collectors.
This book can also be ordered from MARWAY or E.G.URSUAL both on google. This book will soon become a bible for uniform and equipement collectors a collection I am very familiar with.will be at the dealers within three weeks.
