A few months back, I found the mate to my Klein DKiG, which I posted here some time ago.

It is a Zimmerman DKiS, in beautiful condition, and I'm VERY please to have found it.

I put the two of them together, for a family photo....Smile

Thanks, all, for your wonderful comments! (Paul, I always love the photos on YOUR site, so I take it as a great compliment when you say "Beauty Display"....)
I was VERY pleased to find the DKiS, wrapped in a piece of chamois, in a "blind box" at an estate auction....That is to say, one bids on a box without it's contents fully listed. This was listed as "WWII medals", and had the DKiG, a Kuban Shield, a WWI Red Cross medal in it's original case and cardboard box, a small party pin, and three American medals (Purple Heart, Good Conduct, and a NY State WWI medal....
The best part?...all for 80.00...Smile)

Bob.

$80.00 that sure put a BIG Smile on your face, good for you.Always great to hear of this type of find a throw back to the late '50-60 era.I saw a similar group a couple of years ago at the MAX the seller didn't want to break them up (Thurs.-Sat.)close to 8k if not over for both.On Sun. he was willing to split them but still no sale.
