I recently acquired a very nice early Luftwaffe 1st dagger. Unfortunately it was missing the leather of both the scabbard and grip. Even though a grip wire was present.
The nice thing about this dagger was that it was unit stamped.
I sent it off to a nice gentleman in the states called Don Swanson, who did a great job of re-covering it. It looks superb, and theres no seams!
