Nothing is really completed. Odds and ends missing everywhere. Its a real drain on the bank account.

Thanks! Its been a long and winding road . I apologize for the complete mess. I have a limited amount of space for display. Half my uniforms are still hanging up on racks or in the closet. I really enjoy looking at the fine collections on this forum. It inspires me to complete my collection. Thanks to the moderators for permitting me to share.

Right on. My wife clearly delliniated a boundry when she said, "absolutely, under no circumstances, are there to be any mannequins in the house, dressed as Nazis or not".

I've always told her my intent is to dress a room full of them as German soldiers, and have tea parties with the group at 4pm sharpish Big Grin. Family and friends already think the hobby is indicitave of a sickness, so I don't suppose the mannequins in parade uniforms would help the case much. Roll Eyes

I will admit that i had reservations about the first mannequin. I thought I had crossed the line between normal and weird. The torsos scared me less. I have 2 up now, but around 4 more are going in. Up to this point, my son has had no mannequin related nightmares and the girlfriend supports the "habit".. That a girl worth keeping. Cheers.

I agree, the upper torso dolls aren't quite as much. But the ones who have the very defined facial features, facial hair, well defined appendages scare me a bit more.

On the topic of dolls, for those of you who have yet to see this guys arrangement of his dolls, take a looks. I belive they are the 1:6 scale dolls, probably by Dragon. He went overboard at the doll shop buying accoutrements for them.

Another. I like the cat on the coffee table and the soldbuch in his hand.

Sorry. Didn't intend to digress. Nice stuff in your collection.

Thanks Joe. Its an original M36, but we added the shiny insignia for a movie shoot last fall. No SS stamps inside, so I would assume its Heer.
