Guys:

I was lucky enough to pick up a couple of items in my recent trip to Norway.

My father-in-law, rest his soul, was in the merchant marine when the war broke out. He did not return home until after the war and immediately married his sweetheart, who had been waiting for him for 5 long years.

He was awarded the following War Service Medal by King Olav and I was lucky enough to get it, the case it came in and the award document.

I also picked up these two war time pins.

I have the Folkehjelp pin already with the Finish flag, this is the one with the Norwegian flag.

It was available for people who gave money to support the Finns in their war against the Russians.
