Gentlemen,

At last, I've finally completed my Infantry NCO Waffenrock.
It took me couple of weeks before I could find every pieces missing for the completion of my dress tunic.
I never thought that I would eventually collect this type of militaria but I must admit, that I had a lot of fun in doing it.
Waffenrocks are somewhat inexpensive in comparaison to most edged weapons, and they certainly enhance the full glory of the German Army in terms of visual appeal.
I had to buy almost every pieces of equipment separately, even the buckle and the parade belt didn't come together.
The bayo came from Paul Donahue, the uniform from Craig, the buckle from Paul Hogle, the EKI from someone in Germany, the aiguilette from....can't remember where, etc, etc, etc.

Of course, everything has to be pristine, what can say, I'm the picky type.

My wife hates my display though and I have to move it down in my basement but hey, I can't ask her to be perfect.
