Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I have been chasing one of those for years with no luck. I only saw one actual one in my whole life in person. One day though, I will have one I hope.

Once upon a time Mr. Röhm had been the Nr. 1 in collecting these - today they are pretty rare!
That is indeed a good find!
Congrads to Bob - enjoy the condition!

Best,

Thorsten

Careful Bob, these sweet little rifles are addictive! Now you need a DSM-34; then a W625; or a Sportsmodell; then there are the 4mm ones; etc. etc.. It goes on and on Smile

The vet who sent this home is still alive. He is 90 years old and was a Captain in a bomb disposal squad. He billeted in a carpenter shop that built the crates to ship the guns home.
Denny, this will probably be my first and last as I've become addicted to U.S. WWII carbines and will probably eventually sell it to support my addiction.I don't know if it is rarer than the US Irwin Pederson Carbine, but it cost me more. Eek
Initially I was interested in a couple of other guns he brought back (MP40, MP44 and 2 Beretta SMG's) but I couldn't afford them. Frown

First let me say that I'm not a collector of these types of firearms so I'm not sure about the accuracy of my information. This is a KKW training rifle used by the NSDAP. It is in .22 cal. long rifle. I think they were made by the Simson and Sons co. which I believe was a Jewish co. When the Nazi's took over the company, the name was changed to BSW (Berlin Suhler Waffenfabrik) and then later changed to Gustloff Werke.
I would like to find the value of this rifle to see if I made a good buy or not (wasn't cheap).Anybody have any ideas?
Hopefully I answered all the emails. If I didn't get back to you, I'm sorry, I deleted some emails by mistake. The SMG's have all been sold. I haven't decided what to do with this rifle as of yet.
