Dagger number SS 1933 Identification

Question:
Can any one help? I have a early EP&S 1933 SS dagger with a number stamped on the lower cross-guide. The number is 262184. The number is not shown in the Dienstaltersliste (1937) edition. I assume the number was issued to a rank and file member. It would be great to put a name to the dagger. Any help would be grateflly appreciated.

Regards. Edwardo

Gustavo:

Or Robert E. McDivitt at rmcdivittjr@yahoo.com

I received two very different and very interesting packages on my SS number from both gentlemen. Both packages included different photos as well.

Hi Edwardo:

Good news! Though he does not turn up in the Dienstalterslistes, your SS Rottenführer with the SS No. 262 184 can be identified. Contact me with more information.

Regards,
Ross Kelbaugh

Hi

I have had a look in my database and have that number attributed to Rottenführer Anton Mica.

I am sure that either Ross or Mike Constandy will be able to help you find out further information on the man.

Hi Edwardo

Sorry to say that I have no more information on Mica.

It is well worth getting hold of his file. It is great to have a name but I know that I would have to know more.

Here is Mike's email address should you need it info@westmorelandresearch.org

Perhaps you can let us know how you get on with your research as I would be interested to hear more about it.

Best wishes and good luck

Raymond
