this one is for sale in Germany,, the guy wrote this obout it..nice K98 bajonet , complete with frog and scabbard !

It is marked

"MEINE EHRE HEISST TREUE " and

"SS TOTENKOPFVERBÄNDE BELSEN " .

Furthermore , the grip has the common SS marking

- look at the pictures .



Members of the SS-Totenkopfverbände / " Death´s head

unit " were taught to be concentration

camp administrators - the main training center was the

SS-Übungslager at Dachau .

They are collectable in their own right and were fetching $200+ the last time I looked on EBAY before they got a flea up their backsides!.
There are loads of variations and from what I can remember they came out of England in the 70s I think, although I stand to be corrected.

Degens is correct. Totally bogus etch although the bayonets themselves were original. Many formations were etched from England.
