That motto does not look like a Boker etch to me. Notice especially the bottom of the "h" in Ehre and Heisst".

Not sure if Matthias blade is original but I have some doubts about it. Certain lines are thinner as I know them from Böker blades. Compare it well.

The Roman numeral "II" is not right. Too big and too far apart.

The runes button also looks flat, instead of convex. I don't know Matthias, I have bad feelings about this one too.

Skyline, what kind of shoe polish did you use on that blade the get the burnishing so dark? ..................................................................Just Kidding! It's quite impressive.

I stel have 3 very nice original 100% SS daggers that was left to me by my grandfather who colect german nazi militarya since the 2.ww as he was himself a member of 7 SS Prinz Evgen Divizion ! I will present those SS daggers after i get a new camera ! All his stuf is 100% original, becourse he haide it after the end of the war ! I stel have his waffen SS camo uniform, the black one was taken by yugoslav Milica ( police ) !

I wont to by some nice daggers and specialy german nazi police bajonet, but the sealer from U.S.A dont want to seal their items to colectors from Evropa ! Why not, i have no idea, since we also have money to pay it or nice original items to trade !

I woud realy wont to know where is the problem ?

I think there are so many more scammers in Europe, and as Americans, we have no recourse to criminal activity...no way to make sure the item did arrive. I don't think the items can be insured to many countries. I certainly won't buy anything unless I receive it first because I can't file a police report or take them to court from here. I did buy a couple of nice lots of Eickhorn control tags, and the seller had no problem sending them to me first. Worked out great. But as a seller to a foreign country, what do I do if the buyer says he never got the item and it's not insured? John

I think John hit the nail on the head. I am very reluctant to deal with anyone in Europe. Buy, sell, trade, etc. unless I know that person and am confortable in taking the risk. I have had only a few dealing in Europe, with long-time members of another forum. These worked out well for both parties. But like mentioned, there are alot of scammers and very little recourse for those of us in the USA.

Matthias, I would buy through a dealer in which you establish rapport with and who is comfortable working with you. I know there are some out there who will ship to the former USSR and who not rip you off.

Matthias, I recommend you try to minimize your loss, sell it if you can (on a Russian aution if possible Big Grin) and just check out someone like lakesidetrader.com who has nice authentic SS daggers and always gives you great value for money. US dealers still have the best in daggers (not in medals, documents etc). Plus... with the € at nearly $1.30...its a no brainer

John that's gen-u-ine liberated Third Reich SS shoe polish vet acquired. Smile Never seen an etch so black that wasn't the painted variety. This dagger has a special treat having a marked pommel nut. Looks like a wolfsangel rune to me... others think it is a personalized "f".

DAng nice dagger Mike, the contrast is breathtaking...I do remember the discussion on the tang nut marking, and I'm leaning toward runes as well...the SS loved runes...
