Hello folks,i have been offered a sa dagger and a luftwaffa cerimonial dagger for £400.I have seen them some time ago and know they are genuine an old friend of mine was given them by an old soldier many years ago. When i last seen them i looked for makers names on them but found none.Do you think i could be paying too much for these or could they be a real bargain.

Hi, The price is well below the U.K. market value perhaps half..Tescos are also offering 2 for the price of 1 at the moment.Just make sure the lufty does not have Holler Berlin on the trademark as this indicates post war manufacture (Reproduction).Regards Bunnter

Thanks for the replies i know its all a bit vague but i will try and get more information.I thought the price was a good one if they are not post war made.I am a knife collector but not militaria, but as a keen military historian i feel its a great chance to have some history on the wall.I will post again when i can have a look at them again.
