Does this maker's mark look to be engraved rather than stamped?

Looks acid etched... although not very well.
Definately not stamped. PS: I don't believe Alcoso made SS daggers... Silver Badge #0398 My Avatar = My dagger security system!  |

I have seen that bad etch - or a close cousin - before. Not at all convincing. I don't they made SS or SA/NSKK.

I'm with Dave...
There's no proof that Alcoso made SS or SA daggers, although there's examples of possibilities but they're all rubbish... (but never say never)... Take a look at that maker mark... up to 3R standard? I don't think so... What does the rest of the dagger look like? |
