Front looks crude, but still like short runes, convex type. Looking at the back, I must say the construction looks correct. I never saw the back of this type of button, so don't know if it should be that deep or not. Normally the buttons are almost flat. Anyway, it will be interesting to know the story.

The sory is that it was taken off the ground dug SS dagger handle. Blade was marked 1196/38 SS. That's the story.
