gents:

have been offered this m33 with two hangers. the handle is cracked and i have some trepidation on the 'ss' circle marked hangers. is this dagger and or hangers a legit 33? what is its worth considering the damage to the handle?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, my first jump into the murky pond....

There are legit marked short hangers but they are later plated versions like the one shown. The early short hangers are solid nickel and unmarked. I have never seen a short hanger with a flat buckle like the one shown. Doesn't necessarily mean it's wrong though.
