Right eye is higher than the left?

The right eye is higher than the left on original type II's.

They are slightly smaller and the background of the SS link appears flat.

Unfortunately the last image posted is not quite clear enough. But if I had to start looking at the possibilities, I would consider shrinkage from casting. Any possibility of some really good close ups of the front and the back?? FP

The die casts are always about 5% smaller than the originals. I believe the discussed ones are copied from the originals, so that's why they are smaller and less deep, but they have kept original like appearance.

Are these the ones that were just sold on ebay?

What are they made of? Nickel or steel?

They were on ebay and they are mostly non magnetic.
