It looks like an original dagger.It has serious condition problems.It is a piece of junk now and will be a piece of junk ten years from now.The hanger may be worth more than the dagger. I would not pay more than $750.00-$1000.00.I then would suffer buyers remorse.IMO

I asked pesho how far from the crossguard the motto ended on this transitional Henkles. He checked and said 30MM, now that is interesting as the transitional Henkels I had was 30MM. Someone else who I know with a transitional Henkels was 29MM so that is food for thought on these transitional Henkels. Most of the others are around 25MM but it does seem to proove on this particular model that these transitional henkels with this particular trademark are around 30.
Does anyone else have one with the same transitional trademark that they can also confirm these measurements?.
Pesho, looks like a original example. Indeed it has condition issues but i've seen far worse examples out there that have been nicely restored. Good Luck whatever you decide.
Well just goes to show they all seem to be 30MM on that transitional style trademark. Glad that we have been able to confirm this on 4 examples so far.
