Just wondering what happend to this dagger, obviously does not have the right blade. The vet i picked it up from said that in the war many Soldiers picked up swords and frankenstiend them back together to bring home. Is this the case? Also Has a Puma stamped blade with a serial number, i have never seen this before, any help.

Sorry to tell you this but that dagger never had the right anything. Bakelite grip, fake eagle and rune button, incorrect blade shape and bad scabbard.

And it was not put together and aged by GIs.
