Just set up my new computer with Windows XP home edition. I have 2 problems, the first is when I use windows media player or YouTube the voices sound like Hampsters on steroids. The second is my volume control is all the way up but the sounds are still low. Never had this problem with the old computer with Windows 98. Help appreciated.

Make sure you have the latest sound drivers for your sound card or onboard sound.
