This is just about driving me round the bend . . .

There are many here who post photos at 900 x 675 pixels, yet the best the site allows me to post is 550 x 413 pixels and for the last hour I have been trying to resize a photo and no matter how small I made it the site actually indicated that the kb was increasing!!!!! Can anyone explain this or how I can post larger than postage stamp photos? Please help! Thank you! ~ Ian

After you've done your resizing, in 'My Documents', right click on the pic, click Resize Pics and try resizing again as 'Medium' - seems to make pics larger keeping the same quality.

The trick is to find a good software program that allows you to shrink file size without reducing the picture size. This comes at a cost of quality but depending on the software used is marginal for forum viewing. Personally I use 64bit Photoshop on Vista Ultimate, what O/S do you use and what are you using to resize?.

This free ( link at bottom of page )one looks like it might be worth the download > RESIZER . Keep the aspect ratio ticked and just reduce the quality until filesize is correct.
