Anytime I try to open a PDF file Internet Explorer encounters a problem and shuts down.I was able to open before but now something is bugging the system.Thanks for any help.

Ed,
Do yourself a favor and get the Foxit reader. It's small and fast(forget about Adobe Acrobat Reader "Moster"). It's free (unless you want to upgrade to Pro)and all your problems with PDF files are history. Foxit Reader 2.2 for Windows |

Top advice, I use Foxit as well, its small and does not take over your PC like the Adobe equivalent, works on Vista as well.
