I must agree with Evgeniy. stamp, and as to newly made.
This looks like the product of a jeweler from Germany that has been reproducing and making up rings for years.
They are of the same high quality as this and is very very reminiscent of his styling.. This is not what to expect when looking at an original period piece..

If she didn't pay a small fortune for it, its a cool looking representative piece that could be displayed with other items or until an original is found...,G.
