Gentlemen,

I have got an offer for this honorring from Austria. Please excuse these pictures, they are from the seller and I have nothing better for yet.
It is given to a man named Thym 21.6.43. Forgive me, if this is a well known copy. As you know, I am not a specialist in this stuff. Any comment will be welcome.

I first must apologize about my vague statement above. I sometimes forget the forum/site has truly become an international one and even though English is the primary language here for many it is not their primary language...

I received 2 emails from members about this ring. Both not sure of what I meant by my comment above. One email came with a photo and link to an auction site that is currently selling what looks like this exact ring.
My humble opinion is the same,,based on the photos here,, this is not a ring I would want in my collection., G.

as I know now, the guy offers this ring in two auctions at the same time. He has a Certificate of Mr. Niemann in Hamburg. Niemann states, that he doesn't know, wether the ring is an original item or not. The seller is Mr.Bleicher from Austria, he sended me some better, but not very good photos, wich I will post later. Mr. Bleichers account is franz_f in the german militariaweb. His membership in german ebay is finished since last month. He had 19 bad Feedbacks there.

If you look at google.de under Thym, you will find another offer of the same ring:

The certificate means that it isn't sure whether original or copy!
