Dear gentlemen,

I need help with this ring. It has been supposedly authenticated by Don Boyle. Could someone advise if this is the real deal? It looks very worn and only shows 1 complete rune.

Why don't you ask Don if he wrote a COA on it?

This day and age those photos are worthless other than to say,,yeah, its an early pattern Honor ring..

Sure it looks good. IF, those were the only photos possible to have on the ring and the ring came with a good return privilege ,sure I'd take a chance on it...

Now, IF Don confirms that he papered the ring its a no brainier,,its good ,period.

That's precisely why I didn't comment above. With the fakery that's been going on which apparentely continues unabated calling rings other than obvious fakes from pictures is
rash to say the least.

in my opinion the style of himmler's handwriting looks good, but the outside has been worn off quite badly and make it hard to verify it or compare it with other rings. as for asking Don, I will do so. But was wondering if you guys could also chime in your learned opinions.

Better photos are mandatory.

Military,Find a ring you like at the price you want to pay.Have the seller get a COA from Don if he wants you to buy it.Try to avoid a worn out piece of junk ring now, and will be a worn out piece of junk 10 years from now.I asked you earlier where do you find all of these questionable rings,Let us know the sites they are on. End of story.

Thanks Zorro. That was why i decided to go for the other ring which had the runes intact, but i had opinions from members that it is not a good piece.

Really hard to decide. I have to get some opinions and so some research myself before justifying to spend $250 on Don.

I would like to see closeup photos. If they won't provide them, tell them to get lost!! BETTER PICS, PLEASE!!
