G...Im not really a ring guy.But im assuming its for the luft. radio operator/air gunner from the design?Where there other different ones for the other luft. jobs (pilot..observers...etc).Im also assuming these were private purchase?

Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Thanks guys for the kind comments..

Rick, These are called 'badge rings'. Usually mini copies of award badges on rings. Strange but its 99% of the time Luftwaffe rings. I've never seen a GAB, IAB or PAB ring I'd thought was original.
KM? hard to find any rings KM related..
So Luft. it is, and you usually see Flyers, Para, this example here, and the Observers..

Doing a little surfing around I ended up at Craigs site. He has a archive section of items he has sold.. This ring went to some lucky collector. True near mint condition.

Gaspare I like your ring.

You have well used rings (like yours) and rings looking as mint state ( here above), both have a plus; the used one( yours) has more character .
The near mint one has a nicer picture.
As a collector therefore I appreciate them both.
